New. 2024 build. Daniel Lukes luthier from South London, UK presents ‘The Garden-Bird Ukes’ - A trio of ukuleles, inspired by three charismatic British birds: the Robin, the Magpie and the Kingfisher.

A favourite among birdwatchers, the Kingfisher sports a vibrant, blue and orange plumage. This tenor ukulele is built with sweet-sounding Redwood and a naturally orange set of English Walnut, picked out with bright blue stabilised Box Elder as a homage to this elusive bird. The comfortable English Cherry neck is topped with a 5,000 year old Fenland Bog Oak fingerboard, matched to the bridge. This uke is strung in low-g tuning and features a comfort bevel on the upper bout, a generous scoop-cutaway and a side soundport.
