UKELOGIC Single strings options

Uke Logic string are made from high quality "super fluorocarbon" aka Super-Carbon. A high-density formula of fluorocarbon that is tonally different from the average fluorocarbon ukulele string. Uke Logic string sets are available as all-plain Super-Carbon and additional options are available for players who prefer metal wound strings in combination with Super-Carbon.

The Soft tension has a pleasant warm tone, with a comfortable light tension that is a welcome upgrade for players who find the average fluorocarbon string to be stiff, hard, and painful on their fingertips. Physically enjoyable to play, they allow your fingers to glide effortlessly and silently.

The Hard tension has a heavier gauge* and increased tension, this allows it to feel more balanced with the tension of the other 3 strings on your Ukulele. Players comment that the string does not overpower the rest of the set and is a good choice for players who feel that the average unwound low G feels too "floppy" or drones on too long and overpowers the other strings. It also significantly reduces fret buzz compared to the average unwound low G.

*At a diameter of 0.042" the Hard tension Low G is larger than the average low G string and may require a slight adjustment to your nut slot for a comfortable fit depending on the instrument.

STRING MEASUREMENTS:

• Hard Tension: Low G / Low D - 0.042"

• Soft Tension: Low G / Low D - 0.036”

HELPFUL INFORMATION:

• The string is long enough to be used with any scale length.

• These strings can also be used on Baritone Ukuleles as a Low D string. The longer baritone scale length balances out the tension when tuned down to D.

• The Clear or Pink colour options have no effect on the function or tone of the string, they are strictly cosmetic options for your pleasure.
