Uke Logic string sets are made from high quality "super fluorocarbon" aka Super-Carbon. A high-density formula of fluorocarbon that is tonally different from the average fluorocarbon ukulele string. Uke Logic string sets are available as all-plain Super-Carbon and additional options are available for players who prefer metal wound strings in combination with Super-Carbon.

Physically enjoyable to play, the soft tension sets have a pleasant balanced tone, with a comfortable light tension that is a welcome upgrade for players who find the average fluorocarbon string to be stiff, hard, and painful on their fingertips.

This specific set is an Artist series, they have been customised for Mika Kane, reknowned hawaiian artist. This set constitutes of soft tension strings for G, C and E and a high tension for the A string.

“I love this specific set because having softer tension on the top 3 strings (even with the bottom A is hard tension) , it overall feels as if you’re playing all soft tension (especially for barred chords). It’s easier on my hands and lets me play and teach longer. Having a hard tension A string allows me to dig more into the string, specifically because the melody is played so often on the A string. For me, this string tension combo is ideal for my fingerstyle playing.”

STRING MEASUREMENTS:

  • High G - 0.023" / 0.57mm

  • C - 0.032" / 0.81mm

  • E - 0.025" / 0.64mm

  • A - 0.023" / 0.57mm - High Tension A string

HELPFUL INFORMATION:

  • These strings are long enough to be used with any scale length

  • The Clear or Pink colour options have no effect on the function or tone of the string, they are strictly cosmetic options for your pleasure.

  • Because the thinnest string is usually going to be the first to wear out, each set comes with a spare for the thinnest string in the set. This way you can replace it when necessary and avoid having to purchase a new set for only a single string.
